Ik denk dat ze er echt behoefte aan hadden om samen te komen, zeker nu Jezus niet meer tastbaar bij hem was. Ze zochten steun en inzicht en bemoediging bij elkaar. En meer dan ze durfden hopen: Hij komt zelf weer naar hen toe, met zijn vredegroet.
