De liturgie richt zich in deze tijd steeds meer op de wederkomst van Christus. Wij zien uit naar zijn toekomst, als Hij zal komen om recht te doen aan levenden en doden. Het evangelie schetst ons twee groepen meisjes die de gelovigen symboliseren. Ze willen alle tien Christus ontvangen en tegemoet gaan.
